HOW TO FATTEN YOUR RUG

How to flatten your rug!
This is normal case when carpet was fold to deliver or placed in storage. There are steps you can use:
Step 1: Give your rug some time. Spread the rug on the floor and let it sit for about two days to seven days to see if it relaxes on its own.
Step 2: Try back-rolling the carpet. To do so, unroll the carpet and then roll it again, this time rolling it in the opposite direction. Let the rolled carpet sit for a day or two and then unroll it again.
Step 3: Place a piece of furniture or a stack of heavy books on the creases for a few days to flatten them out using weight.
Step 4: If your rug still won’t lie flat, apply some heat to it. Spread the rug over a clean concrete or asphalt slab such as your driveway on a sunny day. It’s best to do this in the afternoon on a 75- to 80-degree F day, giving the surface time to absorb the sun’s heat all morning. Usually, one or two hours in the sun is enough to release wrinkles and creases.
If you don’t have a large enough patch of sun, flip the rug over and use a hair dryer to heat up the creases of the rug and release them. Always hold the hair dryer 6 to 9 inches away from the rug and use a sweeping motion. It’s possible to melt rug fibers, so use a low or medium heat setting and keep the hair dryer moving back and forth at all times.
Step 5
Tape it down. Double-sided carpet tape is available in furniture and home improvement stores. Apply this tape to the back of your rug; then remove the paper covering the adhesive and smooth the rug over the floor. Press the tape down firmly, smoothing it as you go. Carpet tape works on hard floors and on existing wall-to-wall carpet, holding your rug in place to flatten existing creases and eliminate new ones.
HOODIE WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. If you want to wash it by washing machine :
* Firstly, please turn your hoodie inside out so the color and texture of the fabric are protected during the wash
* Spread out your hoodie and place it in the tub of the washing machine, careful not to ball it up
* Prevent extra wear on your hoodie by using the delicate cycle
* Make sure that you set the washer to “cold” before turning it on to help preserve the color and any graphics that are on the hoodie
*Wash your hoodie every 6-7 wears.
2. If you want to wash it by hand :
* Fill a bucket big enough to fit your hoodie with cold water
* Apply mild soap or shampoo by rubbing it onto the hoodie
* Rinse the soap or shampoo off with cold water
QUILT WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
A. In case you want to wash the quilt by washing machine :
1. Set your washing machine to a gentle cycle and choose cold water. We think you should wash with a gentle detergent.
2. You can use Machine Drying or Air Drying :
– Machine Drying Instructions: Two very important words to remember here – LOW HEAT. To be safe, don’t dry it all the way. Tumble dry it on low until it is damp, and then let it air dry.
– Air Drying Instructions : To prevent those threads from poppin’ support the weight of the quilt well, usually by drying it flat. Use a flat rack, but if you don’t have a giant quilt-drying rack, you can make a bed of thick towels to lay it on. To get some of the extra initial moisture out, cover your wet quilt with another set of towels, and roll it up in that towel sandwich for a good first squeeze. Then, place the quilt on another towel bed.
B. In case you want to wash the quilt by hand :
1. Make sure the tub or sink you will be using is clean
2. Fill-er-up with some cold water and dye-free, perfume-free detergent. Place your quilt in the water, and make sure every inch of it is submerged
3. Agitate the quilt gently for about 10 minutes, then drain the soapy water, and refill with fresh water. This time, add ½ cup of distilled white vinegar to the water. This clears the quilt of any residue from the detergent, and also softens it and keeps the colors bright
4. Repeat the rinsing process until the water is suds-free.
5. You can use Machine Drying or Air Drying :
